Something you'll want to consider, when taking your business portraits or business headshots, is that these are pictures that you may be looking at for a long time. They could be featured on your business card, on your or your company’s website and also could be used on brochures or similar literature that may be circulating for several or more years.
Business pictures, by their very definition, imply that you'll be using these pictures, in one way or another, to help you in your chosen profession. Do your business headshots offer an indication of the station in life that you have achieved? Or does your drivers license picture look better than the business portrait you're currently using? Is it reasonable to expect that you will earn a substantial income using cheap or inferior portraits?
