There are many other ways to exercise other than stepping into a gym. If you are really interested in exercising, you can do it at home with some equipment like dumbbells, weights, a weighted pull up belt and a treadmill. These are enough to make you feel at home.
Start scheduling
You planned your workout, and you don’t have time to go to the gym on a regular basis. Then make a schedule of time you can spend on workouts in a day and the number of days you are free in a week for workouts. Fix the workout that will be done on the specific day after calculating the free day and time available for the workout.
For example, you are going to do workouts for 5 days a week for an hour each. Fix Monday is bicep day, and spend all day doing biceps. Tuesday is shoulder day. Do the exercises related to the shoulders. Wednesday is abs day, so do abdominal exercises on that day. Thursday is leg day, and Friday is whole body day.
Schedule yourself and repeat workouts in the coming weeks to get your body in shape.
Buy some basic equipment
As already said, you need some basic equipment to start a home workout. Buy only the equipment that is useful to you. Dumbbells are a very basic requirement in workouts. It helps to make your arms and shoulder muscles stronger with various exercises. Weights are used to make you stronger and weighted pull up belt are used to hang the weights on your body.
This is most commonly used in squats and leg exercises, where the weights are hung on your hips and make your exercise more effective.
Treadmills are used as a warm-up. Before starting your workout, go for a walk for 10–20 minutes on the treadmill. It makes you warm up and start burning calories, so your exercise is effective. If you skip this and start exercising directly, the calorie-burning process takes time to start, and the exercise done in that time is totally a waste of time.
